About Us
IBRIX is a data storage technology company whose passion for addressing the most demanding storage challenges is changing the economics of storage. We partner with leading technology providers, including Dell, EMC, and HP, to deliver extreme data storage scalability and performance in cluster, grid, and enterprise computing environments. With IBRIX, customers never hit a brick wall because the IBRIX file system lets them add performance and storage capacity “on the fly.”
We needed super performance for our file storage and access so when 2,000 computers start asking for the same texture file for one of the film’s characters, our system isn’t overweighed by I/O. Scenes that once took two hours to create are now completed in seconds. That’s pretty remarkable, and we’re scratching the surface on where we are going with this.

The company’s flagship product, IBRIX Fusion, is a software-only parallel file system that is best suited in two network-attached storage environments:
Large Volume
- Businesses that require extremely scalable data storage capacity to accommodate the large volume growth of media assets, email, photos, videos and other unstructured digital content. IBRIX supports real-time additions in storage capacity and file serving bandwidth to their always-on and always growing environments.
High Performance
- Businesses that have data-intensive applications that rely on fast and scalable access to the data. IBRIX removes data throughput bottlenecks, increasing the efficiency of IT environments and improving overall productivity.
The bottom line is that the IBRIX Fusion system can scale to huge capacities and be granularly reconfigured to match business requirements with both capacity and performance. The end result is a class of storage that promises it can handle all unstructured data growth the enterprise can throw at it, both today and tomorrow.
