Product Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing all day-day aspects of the product definition process including gathering system and subsystem requirements, product packaging and desired end-user experiences.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with engineering/QA to assess implementation trade-offs, outline test strategies, monitor and report on development progress and help drive release plans and external deliverables.
Work closely with sales / business development to set product pricing strategies, qualify and integrate customer / partner feedback into the product and support onsite meetings.
Perform ongoing competitive analyses and assessment of changing market conditions to ensure appropriateness of product requirements.
Work closely with members of the executive team on long-term product roadmap plans.
Produce product documentation and work with marketing on other supporting collateral materials, product positioning and marketing programs.

Job Qualifications:

Individual must have 5+ years prior experience in a product management role successfully launching software oriented products.
Prior experience working with storage products (EMC, Sun, Legato, HP, Dell or Hitachi) is strongly preferred.
Excellent oral/written communication skills and comfortable in team oriented working environments a must.
BS in Marketing or related field.
