Technical Support Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer in our Billerica, MA office. The individual will provide technical support to our customers, ensuring any issues are diagnosed to root cause and providing fixes and/or workarounds to resolve issues. This position is instrumental in maintaining our success in excellent customer and partner satisfaction.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customers, prospects and partners, and ensure any issues are diagnosed to root cause.
Resolve issues by providing fixes and/or workarounds.
Interface with engineering to resolve issues.
Provide on-call support when required.
Maintain technical services lab for problem reproduction.
Internal training as needed.
Demonstration systems.
Knowledge transfer.

Job Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years working in the computing industry in a similar capacity.
Extensive Linux experience.
Very strong knowledge of storage.
Understanding of file systems.
Familiarity with TPC/IP, Clustering, SAN and NAS, Fibre channel, Volume Management.
Scripting and/or programming experience.
Storage industry customer support experience is very desirable.
Requires Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or equivalent.
