PRESS RELEASE

IBRIX HIGHLIGHTED IN THE 451 GROUP'S 2008 STORAGE PREVIEW

BILLERICA, MA -- March 25, 2008 - IBRIX® Inc., the leader in scalable file serving solutions, today announced its inclusion in The 451 Group’s 2008 Preview of Storage & Information Management. The 451 Group, an independent technology industry analyst company focused on the business of enterprise IT innovation, cited 2008 as a turning point in scale-out clustered computing adoption and named IBRIX as one of the companies at the forefront based on its solid traction in 2007 and anticipated future growth.

“As the storage industry faces new challenges, software-based file systems have emerged as a go-to solution for managing bulk digital content,” said Milan Shetti, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, IBRIX. “IBRIX Fusion uniquely addresses the challenge of supporting large volumes of data, and our customer base continues to grow.”

The report also notes that the rise of digital content and lower tolerance for latency within the storage infrastructure will call more attention to scale-out computing in the next year. The 451 Group anticipates that smaller vendors will be just as significant as the major storage providers in 2008. IBRIX’s software only scale-out solution currently manages more than 25 petabytes of data for its media and entertainment, Internet and high-performance computing enterprise customers.

"We believe 2008 will be a turning point as Web-scale storage goes mainstream. Organizations need to deploy more cost-efficient, more scalable and higher performance systems than ever before to meet the rising tides of data growth. At the same time they have a much lower tolerance for latency and bottlenecks within the storage infrastructure. Well positioned vendors are those who can effectively address both of these challenges. IBRIX gained some solid traction in '07 and will be looking to put in a repeat performance in 2008," said Simon Robinson, Research Director for Storage at The 451 Group and one of the authors of the report.
